I started driving in order to support the military
I started driving in order to support the military, as a contractor I had base access, and it's difficult for some of the young people who are stationed in Southern California without vehicles to get on and off the bases. So, in order to supplement public transportation I started driving for Lyft. I have a full-time job, and I'm not always alert enough after work to drive Lyft, so I appreciate the flexibility based on whether I feel like I can drive for a few hours or not.
